Obed fathered Jehu, Jehu fathered Azariah,

Azariah fathered Helez, Helez fathered Eleasah,

Eleasah fathered Sismai, Sismai fathered Shallum,

Shallum fathered Jekamiah, and Jekamiah fathered Elishama.

Now the sons of Caleb, the brother of Jerahmeel, were Mesha his firstborn, who was the father of Ziph; and his son was Mareshah, the father of Hebron.
